Under 13s Bfd amass big Buttershaw total to top Table

Lightcliffe u13s 171-6 beat Buttershaw St Pauls 76-10 by 95 runs Thursday 7th June 2018 Bradford Junior Cricket League Peel Section

Lightcliffe’s Bradford u13s had a comfortable victory in their latest match, to continue their joint leadership of the Peel Section of the Bradford Junior u13s Table.

Batting first, the team (fielding only ten players) amassed one of the largest scores recorded by a Lightcliffe Junior team for a number of seasons.
Joe Pyrah, Toby Morley, Tom Shaw, Curtis Taylor and Fin Hill all made significant contributions against less experienced home opposition.

Dylan Hill’s tight opening bowling spell allowed his younger brother to bag Man of the Match with 3 wickets.

Another younger brother (Isaac Morley) also made his mark with 2 wickets, whilst Oscar Kellett, Taylor (2) and Shaw (a wicket and a catch) all claimed scalps in a strong all-round performance.
