ANOTHER BUSY WEEK AHEAD FOR UNITED

By Lincoln United

Lincoln United face three games between Tuesday evening and Saturday afternoon beginning with a trip to Louth Town on Tuesday evening.

Then on Thursday evening United face Boston United in the Lincolnshire Senior Shield quarter-final.

Normal prices apply for that game £6 for adults and £3 for concessions.

Finally we travel across the Humber on Saturday with a trip to Hall Road Rangers of the Northern Counties East League. Rangers are managed by former United favourite, Billy Heath.

These games come on the back of three wins and we have seen good progress made on the field with the first half against Scunthorpe United the pick of the displays. We were 3-1 up at half-time with Chris Funnell rifling home an excellent goal, he might have had a second but for a superb save. Stuart Reddington and Peter McDaid scored the others.

Where next?

AWAY DRAW IN LEAGUE CUP The draw for the League Challenge Cup sees United with a bye in the Preliminary Round and a trip to Goole AFC on 27th September in Round One.
EARLY KICK-OFF ON SATURDAY United followers are reminded that Saturday's game at home to Scunthorpe United(23/07/11) kicks off at 2pm not the normal 3pm time.
