Theobald Blow As League Leaders Hit Town!

By Dickon Moon

Skipper ruled out for the rest of the season and misses an historic day for the club.

1s Skipper Dave Theobald has been forced to sit out the rest of the season after medics ruled his heart condition required further investigation. In good spirits when he attended training this week, Theo is determined to have the issue remedied asap so he can return as good as new for next season. All at LCRFC wish him well with his speedy recovery. With this London 2 South-West match being supported by LCRFC VP's from around the globe and with a specially arranged later kick off of 2.45pm, we are also delighted to welcome current Cornwall RFU President Ken Plummer, the former Cornwall County and England International having attended our 50th Anniversary Dinner earlier in the season. Chobham arrive bang in form and with promotion firmly in their sights, so whatever side Cornish can field will need to defy the odds! The Dukes have landed yet another walkover at GWR, which takes Jack Davidson's lads top of the tree in Middx Merit Table Div 4. They remain unbeaten in league action this season, and have picked up a friendly at Battersea Ironsides 2s instead. Can Chobham repel the Cornish rebellion - you can read all about it right here on Saturday night!
