They are like buses… you wait for one and two come at once!

It’s a double Derby over the next two weekends for the Mighty Blues. This Friday evening (23rd November from 7.30pm) the team is set to face rivals Ilkeston for the first competitive fixture between the clubs in over 10 years.

The opponents will go head to head away at Ilkeston in the NLD Cup Quarter Final, with the winners getting a trip to Nottingham Casuals in the Semi Final on the 23rd February for another local derby.

LERFC will kick off Christmas in style with another trip to Ilkeston the following week (Saturday 1st December from 2.15pm) for the second episode in the mini local Derby drama, this time in league action.

Who will be victorious? Who will take the local bragging rights? It promises to be great entertainment. All support is welcome… let’s make Ilkeston blue!
