Town striker takes a bad knock in Cleeve defeat

Town front man Ross Gabriel suffered a broken nose and facial cuts in the defeat at home to Bishops Cleeve on Tuesday night.
It was in the dying minutes of the game when an accidental clash of heads led to the incident.
Ross received hospital treatment after the game and is expected to miss several games.

On a brighter note, Lydney management have secured the return of former striker Declan Morley-Lyne to the club following a short stint at Senior League Harrow Hill.
The former golden boot winner is expected to start in the home game against Holmer Green on Sat. Nov 3rd.
Also making a welcome return to the club is Harry Williams following a successful season at County League Broadwell where he topped the scoring charts at the first attempt.

The timing of these events couldn't have been better with the loss of Gabriel and skipper Danny Morgan who has decided to take a break from the game.
