Town Triumph to stay up

By Wayne Jones

Two goal Dec seals the win

Two goals from striker Declan Morley-Lyne saw Lydney come away with all 3 points at Oxford City Nomads on Monday night and so extend their tenure in the Hellenic Premier League for another season.

Town went in front with Morley-Lyne's 1st goal on 24 minutes before he bagged a second with a brilliant free kick for a 0-2 interval lead.

The hosts pulled one back after the break and Rich Thomas made a superb stop to prevent an equalizer in a nervy last quarter.

The fine win seals another season for Town in the Prem at the start of a ridiculously busy week of games.
Next up are Flackwell Heath (h) on Wed 25th, Bracknell Town (h) Thurs 26th, with the season coming to an end on Sat.28th at home to Windsor
