Annual Charity Cricket Day Success

Thanks to everyone who came along and supported our annual charity cricket day.

In our 10th year it was our most successful yet, looking like a fantastic £2000 raised for Zoes Place (@Zoes_Place) which has been matched by Santander Bank hopefully making a grand total of £4,000. A big thank you to all the local companies and individuals who provided in excess of 50 raffle prizes.

Thanks to the Under 9s teams who played in the morning and the four mens teams in the afternoon, our very own Will Nobles 'One for the Road' for the live music and the members for the terrific karaoke (maybe not in all cases).

And a final big thanks to those who made it happen, Gareth and Gill Lloyd and all the helpers, and Becky Lloyd for sourcing the raffle prizes and the Santander match.
