Great start to the season!

18-10 win for Mellor!

Mellor U13s faced their first league match of the season against a strong Heaton Mersey team.

Mellor were quick to open the scoring, being 2-0 up within minutes, however Heaton Mersey soon mounted a comeback and although Mellor stayed ahead all match, the players had to defend really well against a couple of very good Heaton Mersey attackers. In the final quarter Mellor managed to really push ahead with the final score being 18-10 to Mellor. Excellent play from all the girls.

Huge well done to Lola who had a great match with 5 great saves. Well done to Evie on scoring her first ever u13s goal.
