Director of Rugby, Martin Poste delighted to announce the latest newcomers to the club

As we move towards the second-half of the season, we have pleasure in announcing the following additional players who will be joining the squad.
Former Northwich youth player Phil Williams has registered and will be available for selection in the New Year. Phil an army officer, who will be based in Carrick, has played National League rugby for Macclesfield and has committed the latest period in his rugby journey to Northwich. Postie said “I’m absolutely delighted, Phil has a proven pedigree and is a technically gifted player that will bring great balance to an already talented group of players at Northwich”.

Postie is also delighted to announce another former Northwich Colt Ben Jones will make his first team debut tomorrow at Warrington. Having spent 3 years out of the game Ben has been working hard since his return and been playing well for our second team regaining his match fitness.

Both players said Postie “bring experience, sound technical ability and athleticism”. A number of highly talented Northwich Colts have recently broken into our senior rugby squads in recent times and we can look forward to welcoming more exciting young players in the next few months & next season.
