Congleton U12s vs Northwich U12s

A repeat morning of fine rugby

When the two sides had met earlier in the season both teams had put on fantastic performances. With Congleton due to host, the Northwich U12s were looking forward to being the visiting team. As always, Congleton provided a friendly welcome on a bright and sunny morning in east Cheshire.

Having only met a few weeks ago both teams recollected their strengths and weaknesses. However what quickly became apparent was the progress both teams had made. With few handling errors, both teams developed an open and flowing game that left the watching crowds at times open mouthed as each team ran in a number of tries. With organisation and discipline being key, Northwich edged ahead a narrow lead, however Congleton always provided the threat of a breakaway try.

The Northwich U12s continue to develop, raising the bar within the game. New friendships are made wherever they may visit across Cheshire, Manchester and Merseyside. As a team they continue to develop and their devotion to their team mates, their club and to the game of rugby is more than evident, and rewarding to those involved.
