Northwich vets beat Crewe and Nantwich vets 36-10, the pace of the game though was more suited to 2nd team standard,
Northwich fielded several ex first team players so it was no surprise.
Tries from Steve Campbell, Ant Moores, Andy Chubb, Rick Smith, Graham Robinson and Mike Donnan. Steve Taylor expertly dropkicked 3 conversions. Massive thanks to referee Rollo Hawkins who showed Dara how to prop and coach Tim Wilding who’s tactical genius won Northwich the game. Special mentions go to Bryan Johnson who has prob played his last game after his knee is now the size of a rugby ball, Ant Moores who returned playing to the club after several years and man of the match was Dara Cairns who scrummaged his way through 60 scrums and it showed!
