“I am full of confidence going into the new campaign and I hope the support continues to grow” Grant Black
Ferriby spent last season in the Conference National league and former Red Ross Armstrong was with them.
Grant Black is looking forward to both games and knows they will be tough “It will be a good test to see where we are actually at. I’ll be looking at some players to see if they can compete against these sides before making decisions on who to sign on.”
This will be Black’s second full season at Ingfield and after the side surprised the majority of the Evo-Stik North he is delighted to have kept the majority of last season’s squad “We are trying to make the club as good as it can be both on and off the pitch which really helps to attract players. I am full of confidence going into the new campaign and I hope the support continues to grow as it did at the back end of last season both home and away. It’s great when you see lots of supporters travelling to support the lads.”
The second game of the week is against Bradford Park Avenue, a side Black spent some of his playing career with “I enjoyed my time at BPA, I met some good people and worked under and learnt a lot from a top manager in John Deacey.”
Both fixtures will kick-off at 7.30pm, with the admission price being £5 adults and £3 for concessions.
