UPCOMING EVENTS - We need YOUR help!!!

· Sunday 2nd July – Papplewick v Linby Cricket Match – the annual match between the local villagers.

· Sunday 16th July – Corporate 6 a Side Event – a new event to raise money from local businesses who want to play cricket for fun.

· Friday 21st July - Schools Out – the annual celebration for the kids breaking up for the summer holidays.

· Sunday 23rd July – Local Church Cricket Match

· Monday 28th August – Lords Taverner’s Cricket Match – a massive day with a team of top celebrities playing our very own Chairman’s XI!

YOUR CLUB NEEDS YOU!

We desperately need volunteers to make all of these events go smoothly and raise as much for the club as possible. There are several key jobs that need doing at each event including:

· Help run the bar

· Help in the kitchen

· Cook and serve at the BBQ

· Umpiring and scoring

· Help manage the car parking

There is a poster up in the clubhouse and also in the changing rooms PLEASE put your name down for at least one event. It doesn’t have to be a full day, just a few hours will be extremely appreciated.
