2000m Row and 3km Cycle

Senior players faced an interesting challenge as part of the current fitness campaign. The choice was the Olympic rowing distance of 2000m or the 3km prologue ( 3.5kg resistance).
In the rowing the aim was to break 6 mins and Clowey,Haggs and AC missed out by seconds whilst ET and Whitelaw just dipped under the mark. However, Fraser powered to a 5.47 and looked beyond reach until Dom left everyone speechless with a very impressive 5.23.
On the bike Dan and Matt pushed hard through the pain to record 6 mins and 5.38 but Erland and Forrey pushed to collapse and could only be separated by 2 seconds as James finished fastest in 4.49.
Well done to all those who Took part, it takes a lot of character to push so hard and especially after recent festive celebrations.
Great effort all round !
