Meet The New Backroom Staff

By David Brindle

James Olsen introduces his team

Recently, James Olsen was confirmed as the new Litherland REMYCA manager to replace the outgoing Paul McNally, and will lead the club into their first ever season as an NWCFL Premier Division side.

Now, James provides some insight into his backroom staff that will be alongside him during the season.

Micheal Laffy - Assistant Manager

Currently a scout for Liverpool Academy in the youth phase. Michael has bags of experience in managing teams at all ages from youth to open age.

Recruitment wise, Micheal has a good eye for a player and his man management skills to get the best out of players is first class. He will be a great asset to the managing team.

Lee McEvilly - Player/Coach

I have grew up with Lee playing football from the age of 9, and he developed into a top player, playing at a high level for club and country.

Lee is a prolific striker and is great to have around players. His ability to motivate helps bring out the social side on the training ground to create a good training environment.

Anthony Lipson - Player/Fitness coach

Anthony will be the one responsible for getting the lads into peak condition, taking the strength and conditioning sessions during the season. He has played at a higher level and also still plays Sunday league football.

He is more than capable of playing at this level and will be called upon when needed.

The new management team face their first game in charge away to Hale in REMYCA's first pre season friendly on Saturday July 7th.
