New stand Arrives at Litherland Sports Park

A landmark was achieved this week as the new 50 seater stand was delivered to the Sports Park .A few finishing touches are required and the cladding to be fixed in place which will happen this week.

The final decision regarding acceptance into the North West Counties league will be referred to the national FA as it is unlikely a top five finish will be secured.

Nevertheless the club has acted in good faith by financing the stand and other ground improvements to meet the ground grading criteria and we now await our fate.

A special mention must be made to Billy and Paul from PAD Logistics Warrington who kindly arranged transport of the stand. They are decent guys from a great company who went the extra mile and did a top job.

The club would like to extend their thanks to both Billy and Paul. You are welcome to come down to a game next season so the club may make a fuss of you to repay for your great gesture.
