Worsbrough Bridge Match Preview

Shirebrook are back at Langwith Road on Saturday when Worsbrough Bridge are the visitors Worsbrough have got off to a flying start and sit in 3rd place with 15 points from 6 games played winning 5 and loosing 1 of the games played so far so Rob Camm men will be in for a tough afternoon Shirebrook will be looking to continue the good run of form they are in after last Saturdays 4-0 win against Rossington goals from Mark Robinson Declan Brewin Carter Widdowson and Sam Martin gave Shirebrook all 3 points

Shirebrook Manager Rob Camm had this to say about the game

I think Saturday will be a good measuring stick for how far we have come as a team in the past 2 months. Worsbrough finished last season strong under Lee and have have taken that into this season with 15 points from 6. They’ll be full of confidence as will be coming here looking for nothing less than a win I’m sure. We are in a good place ourselves though and we want to keep building on that. The Second half last week I thought we was very good after Rossington put us under a lot of pressure first half. We held firm and kept another clean sheet which is very pleasing. The introduction of Danny Williams and getting Declan Brewin back from injury has given the squad a big boost. As I said Saturday will be a good opportunity to see where we are at and if we can compete and get a positive result against one of the early front runners then we can start to think about putting ourselves in that sort of bracket. I’m confident in the team we have now that we can go and do that.
As always the support is a massive boost and we look forward to seeing a good crowd pushing the team on!
