Last home game of the season ! South v Blaydon

This Saturday 21st April, we are hosting Blaydon RFC in what is our last home game of the season. Its going to be a busy day at the club, with not only the first team playing Blaydon but our under 13s will also be playing Blaydon u13s in a pre-match opener and the 2nd XV are playing Leicester Lions in the 2nd XV league ! to compliment the rugby, the club are holding the last Vice-Presidents lunch for this season ! loads going on and its bound to be a great atmosphere !

Blaydon have had mixed fortunes this season and are currently sitting in 13th spot in the league. They lost 24-36 away at Sale last week after back to back wins against Sheffield Tigers and Luctonians. South lost 45-20 when we traveled to Blaydon back in February.

South first didn't play last Saturday due to waterlogged pitches at Chester, so will be raring to go and looking to turn the tables on our Newcastle based rivals !

Its going to be a great day of rugby on and off the field so come on down, support the u13s, cheer on the seniors and 2nd XV and enjoy company of rugby friends in the club !
