Stamford AFC play in the Northern Premier League South Division and are nicknamed “The Daniels” after Daniel Lambert (a famous Leicester face.) This season has been memorable for their FA Cup run, where they reached the first round properly for the first time in the clubs’ history, they even appeared on TV when they played Hartlepool Utd on Nov 6th, their league form has suffered slightly due to the backlog of matches, but they should finish mid table this season- an exciting proposition and putting them in a great place for next season.
