Sutton fought out a tough draw against promotional rivals Redditch to strengthen their bid for second place
The Royals started on the front foot dominating the early stages with plenty of possession and territory, creating a number of half chances but couldn’t find a way through a compact and organised Redditch defence
Redditch slowly eased their way into the game and looked for the ball over the top but were well marshalled by Sutton’s defence which included 16 year olds Tolley and Lockley
Redditch eventually made the breakthrough with a fine strike from the edge of the box to lead 1-0 at half time
Sutton started strongly again after the break and were quickly level when Osman pounced on a loose ball in the box to fire home
The game swung from end to end and both teams could have snatched victory but the points were shared
Players of the match were full backs Lockley, making her open age debut, and Tolley starting only her second game
