By Kev Newton

Teversal FC First Team Management have resigned after leading the club to a history making season in the East Midlands Counties Football League, ....

... Manager Dean Short, Assistant Craig Charlesworth and Coach Dean Mitchell have left the club with immediate effect due to family and work commitments. Their resignation was received immediately after the 4-1 home victory over Radcliffe Olympic, with the intention of giving the club the maximum time to appoint their successors.

The resignations were accepted at the Directors meeting on Sunday with Chairman Pete Cockerill speaking on behalf of the club stated, “The club would like to place on record their appreciation for the efforts of both Dean’s and Craig. They have taken us through the transition of our lateral movement to the East Midlands Counties League and to get to the final week still in the race for the title has been a great achievement”. Pete went on to wish all three of them all the best for the future.

The Tevie Boys are looking to act quickly to appoint a new Management Team, which will lead the club into their Centenary Season with the added bonus of being back in the FA Cup and move in to another voyage in the East Midlands Counties League. The new management team that will oversee the running of the club’s senior men set up.

The opportunity is open to someone who will rise to the challenge to be responsible for leading the Management Team in all aspects of football activity regarding the first team and reserves. This will have to be done with close liaison with the reserve team and U18’s management to work to the club ethos of developing players for the first team. If you wish to apply for this post, please send a covering letter and Football CV by email to Teversal FC Football Secretary, Kevin Newton, email: Kevin.Newton@TeversalFC.co.uk.

The closing date for applications is Wednesday 23rd May 2018 at 5:00pm.
