Volunteer Opportunity – Media Officer
The role will involve helping to develop and manage the club’s communications channels including; social media, website, written publications & media relations to help maintain and increase the clubs profile. Utilising existing media contacts as well as developing new relationships, you will be the point of contact for press and PR enquiries relating to all areas of the football club, whilst working alongside the Directors and other Officers of the club, whilst being part of the great team of existing volunteers.

A knowledge of the operational workings of the football industry would be advantageous.

Summary of Main Responsibilities:
The post could involve the following:
1. To help lead the managing and shaping of the organisation’s public reputation.
2. To help develop and deliver a media and communications strategy, both online and offline.
3. To draft clear and compelling press releases, statements, web and social media for all aspects of the club.
4. To oversee the drafting, editing and publication of internal and external documents such as matchday programmes, promotional literature and other marketing material.
6. Responsibility for helping to liaise with and managing key relationships – Trustees, partners, players and ambassadors

Volunteer Opportunity – Matchday First Aiders
We have vacancies to increase our First Aider Team to provide cover for all games for our First Team, Reserves and Ladies Teams to work alongside our existing First Aider, whilst being part of the great team of existing volunteers.

We would like someone who solely looks after the First Aid needs on match-days, for all our senior teams and remove the responsibility away from the Senior Management Team.

The post is open for anyone looking to be involved in the game being part of the match day team in a medical way and is a stepping stone that the club is willing to support the right candidate in providing training, equipment and materials to successfully fulfill the post and aide progression for someone who may be looking at progress in this area of the game.
