All good things come to a end at some point and today it did , ON's came to Towcester knowing the game wasn't going to be easy and proberly their toughest test this season and with checking their recent form it looked like they load out with 1st team players on tough matches so the Tows knew it was going to be a hard fought game . The game started well for both teams but the ON's got the better start 14-0 at half time . The second half started almost the same but more in favour for the Tows and then all of a sudden it went sour Tows found themselves being put under pressure by ON's and the Ref . ON's on the 58th minute found a gap in the Tows armour and and made a charge only to be stopped by the ever battling forwards but again another poor decision by the ref gave the ON's a penalty , The final 22 minutes play was in the ON's half as Towcester who never give up kept a firm grip on the ball and came close twice to scoring but with the final whistle blown Tows had lost their 1st and only game of 2014 .
This development side play with a changed squad most weeks like most other clubs but to go unbeaten in 11 games just shows how mush passion and depth this club has to turn out performance's week in week out , This team will learn from their mistakes and move forward into 2015 .
It hurts to say but well done ON's
MERRY CHRISTMAS
