Trentham Rugby Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Kieran Healey as our new Seniors Head Coach. Kieran comes with a wealth of playing experience and has cut his teeth coaching at Longton. We are excited about the philosophies Kieran wishes to implement and believe he will be areal asset to the club. With Kieran in place and new captain Josh Collins, we feel the club is ready to make real strides on and off the pitch.
Upon his appointment Kieran made the following statement, "It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I take on the role of Trentham RUFC first team coach for the forthcoming 2018/19 season. My rugby CV includes playing with England U17/18, Leeds Tykes, Morley, Longton and captaining Staffordshire for a number of seasons. My goal for this season is to bring an enjoyable, running style of rugby to Trentham that I believe will bring success to the club and an elevated league finish compared to last season. If we can generate a culture of commitment and effort to training and match day this season then I have no doubt that this will be achievable. We start pre-season on Tuesday 3rd July so get yourselves and your friends down to embark upon a new and exciting era for the club. I look forward to meeting you all."
