It was a very bad day at the office for Wadebridge Camels, whose five-match unbeaten streak came to a shuddering halt as they were hammered 30-3 at Crediton.
Their hosts had a bigger pack, a slick set of backs, and a very good defence, and the Camels hardly had a sniff of scoring a try, apart from near the end, when Will Pengelly got over the whitewash but play was called back for an earlier knock-on.
Danny Thomas scored Camels’ only points with a penalty, while Crediton ran in tries through hooker Dan Yeandle, Henry Gavin, Josh Lee and Charlie Luxton, with Ollie Down slotting two conversions and two penalties.
