Change The Broken Record

t was a dull wet afternoon as we travelled North to visit league leaders Teversal. We were in high spirits and full of optimism, as the week before we had recorded our first home win against Holwell Sports.

It is beginning to sound like a broken record when once again, manager Richie Holmes had to make changes to the team yet again.

Josh Kwadu, still Injured: Will Daly Unavailable; Tyrone Bradshaw missing in action; On the upside Tom Hall was back from suspension and Jack Gray was declared fit.

To say the first 30 minutes of the game was abysmal would be an understatement. After 2 minutes we conceded a free kick and four passes later we found ourselves one nil down after a well worked set play. 2 Further soft goals from open play meant we were 3-0 down, when an attack from Jack Gray ended up with him being fouled in the box, and Jaylee Hodgkinson slotted the penalty into the back of the net just before half time.

The half time team talk was lively and interesting as the team in the second half were a lot brighter and better than the first half display..maybe the team need a roasting before each game as they do seem to respond to them!

The second half was a goalless affair and West Bridgford had the better possession and chances, but just could not find the back of the net so it ended up 3-1 to the homeside.
