Westoe travel to Middlesbrough in promotion race

Lookers-sponsored Westoe travel to Middlesbrough this week knowing that two more wins will give them a spot in the play-off for promotion.

Westoe were victors in their earlier meeting and will be gunning for a similar result at Acklam Park.

They will need to continue their strong defensive patterns and close down a strong Boro midfield, as well as ensuring at least four tries to gain the maximum five points on offer.

Middlesbrough have won their last five matches and currently sit in sixth position.

Westoe see a welcome return of Sean Ramsay in the back-row, with Andy Kirton moving into the engine room. John Younghusband also returns to the row after missing last week to complete the Fan-Dance.

Chris Judson starts at scrum-half this week, with the rest of the back-line remaining unchanged.
