Leeds & District Cups

The Under 15's will play Hunslet Parkside away in the "Sam Horner Invitation Cup" and our Under 16's face Stanningley at home in the "Jamie Jones Buchanan Invitation Cup" - both fixture dates to be confirmed.

The Cups have been titled after influential people in Junior Rugby and will be brand new silverware for this season.

As a big friend of Wetherby Bulldogs, I'm sure you'll join us in congratulating Sam for receiving recognition for all he does for junior rugby in Leeds. He spends a lot of time outside of his "paid" job making sure that relations between amateur clubs and the pro clubs in Leeds are increasingly strong and ensuring that junior rugby league remains progressive and grows going forward, even if his Zumba moves are questionable!
