WRFC are pleased to offer the 4th annual Junior Summer Camp. The week will be based on previous years’ successful structure supplemented by some exciting new guest coaches.
If you enjoy your sport and are keen to improve your skills, this course is for you. We will strive to deliver a camp which is fun, challenging and educational for all participants. We have some advanced content, which will be new to some, but all will be taught at an age and experience appropriate level. A summer rugby camp should be about more than traditional rugby skills.
Coaches from outside rugby have much to offer our young playersfrom athletic development to spatial awareness and ball skills to leadership.
High quality coaches will lead individual sessions, including: - Level 2 & 3 rugby coaches - Coaches from a wide variety of sports - Highly qualified strength &
- Speed and agility coaches - Sports scientists
We believe that junior players should enjoy a wide range of sporting experiences. Our coaches will work with each player individually to explore their sporting aspirations and develop personalised short and long term goals, training plans and priorities for the forthcoming season.
