The local Grammar School derby between Woodhouse Grove & Bradford Grammar took place on Friday and featured a number of Yarnbury players and officials.
The closely fought contest took place under the floodlights at Keighley RUFC on the newly installed artificial pitch. Taking to the field was ex-Yarnbury Player and Yorkshire Referee, Charlie Andrews (Bradford Grammar) and Yarnbury Player & Yorkshire Representative, Matthew Sheard (Woodhouse Grove).
The referee for the crunch game was Yarnbury Junior Chairman and Championship Referee, Steve Lee with Yarnbury Junior Coaches & Yorkshire Referees, Neil Longhawn & Charlie Brownridge running the touchline.
Despite the near freezing conditions the quality of rugby on show was excellent and did not disappoint the 1,000 strong crowd, with Woodhouse Grove running out 31-7 winners.
