BRA into Schools Cup Final after defeating CAI away on Saturday

On Saturday (13th June) BRA defeated Coleraine Academical Institution by four wickets despite conceding 48 extras - 35 of them wides - when they bowled first in the 30-over game at Coleraine.

However, Coleraine's batsmen could only muster 81 runs between them as they tumbled to 129 all out with David McLarnon doing the damage with 5 for 14. David Reid top scored with 33 as Academy secured victory for the loss of six wickets.

Well done to Captain Andrew Forbes on their win and very best of luck from everyone at Academy Cricket Club for the final.

Dates and venue are still to be confirmed but I am sure the team would appreciate all support. Keep an eye out for more details either here or on the NCU website.
