The last act for the 2017 season is the Club Annual General Meeting at the clubhouse on Thursday 23rd November, 8pm. Notice of the AGM agenda is provided here.
Members aged 16 or over at the meeting will vote on the proposals and nominations put forward on the agenda. As per the Club's Constitution, the business of the Annual General Meeting shall be to:
(a) Confirm the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting and any General Meetings held since
the last Annual General Meeting
(b) Receive the audited accounts for the year from the Treasurer
(c) Receive the annual report of the Committee from the Secretary
(d) Elect auditors
(e) Elect the Officers of the Club (i.e. President; Vice Presidents, Chair etc.)
(f) Review club subscription and match fee rates and agree them for the forthcoming year
(g) Transact such other business received in writing by the Secretary from members fourteen days prior to the meeting and included on the agenda.
The AGM provides the opportunity for members to vote on who takes the Club and its teams forward in 2018, as well as offer the chance for members to step forward to take on roles for the coming year and contribute to the Club's development.
I urge members to make the time to attend the meeting, which should be concluded inside of 90 minutes. I look forward to seeing many of you on the night.
