TAG Rugby is a safe, fun and exciting form of non-contact rugby suitable for both boys and girls. It promotes core development skills, teamwork and sportsmanship. So come down and give it a go.
In line with RFU rules, U6’s may take part in training but not competitive fixtures. From the age of 6 a player may wish to play for the U7 teams, playing a number of fixtures throughout the season with other local clubs.
All our coaches are qualified with the RFU, to the appropriate level and are fully DBS checked.
Any parent, player, ex-player wishing to get involved as a coach, first-aider, etc. is welcome and encouraged. Support and training is available and all help is deeply appreciated. IT'S WHAT KEEPS THE CLUB RUNNING.
In the interests of safety and appropriate behaviour, we would remind parents that they (or another nominated adult) are required to remain at the club during the training sessions/matches. The club house is within 30m of the Tag training area where food, tea and coffee can be purchased while you watch the fun.
We will ensure Training is conducted in a safe environment. For this reason we make pitch safety a priority. We LOVE a bit of Mud and Dirt but if the training area is not fit for purpose we will ensure cancellation is communicated using this website. Sometimes this may be a bit last minute, but the latest we will make a decision is 08:30 on the day.
