After the problems of the previous week in being unable to field a side due to the number of absentees, Bagshot wanted a positive result and performance against an Epsom side that have been bottom of the table for most of the season.
On a dry pitch and blustery wind playing conditions were not ideal but after a scrappy start to the game Bagshot adapted better to the conditions, getting the ball down and keeping possession, and began to create chances.
Sam Cobbett hit the post and Wes Kendrick came close with two headers, before the pressure paid off when Jake Griggs opened the scoring from close range on 30 minutes.
A fine pass from Michael Lacey put Ethan Dixon through to make it 2-0 on 40 minutes and Lacey got the third with a great shot from 20 yards just before half time.
Any game plans Epsom may have made for the second half were blown away straight when, from the kick off, Louis Hibbert saw the goalie off his line and chipped him from the half way line, similar to the Beckham goal at Selhurst Park.
Louis get his second from a great free kick and later got his hat-trick, as Bagshot were ruthless in punishing the struggling Epsom side. Tom Brazil Sr, Sam Hanger and Sam Cobbett, with a brave diving header, added to the score, and the Epsom keeper made some good saves to keep the score in single figures.
Fair play to Epsom for not giving up, in what must be a difficult season getting beaten most weeks, but their management team are working hard to see the season through and hope to rebuild next season.
