Beccs U12's - Information
- U12s rugby is classified as Junior Rugby in Kent.
- Everyone is welcome to join the U12s squad regardless of skill, experience or gender.
- To qualify for the U12's squad, you must be 11 years old at the beginning of the season (1st September) - this equates to being in School Year 7.
- Whenever we are not away at a fixture, we have training/practice at Beccehamians (Sparrow's Den) on Sunday Mornings from 10:00am until 12noon. All are then welcome in the club house for a bite to eat and drink.
Play is regulated by RFU Regulation 15 (Age Grade Rugby, Guidelines and Appendix 1C)
Pitches : 60m x 43m +5m for ingoal areas.
Ball Size : 4
Squad Size : 18 players
Players on Pitch : 12 players;
Max Single Fixture Duration : 20 mins each way
Starts/Re-starts : Dropkick.
5-person uncontested Scrums - Hand Off's allowed below the armpit
