Edwards beat off competition from some of the leading coach operators from across the UK to win the national tourism award for Coach Tour Operator of The Year - Large fleets - at the Coach Tourism Awards held last night in Stafford-Upon-Avon.
The awards organised by trade magazine Coach Monthly, recognises excellence across coach tour operators, tourist destinations and attractions, and industry suppliers.
In giving Edwards Coaches the award, the judges said Edwards Coaches demonstrated a commitment to quality, business success, a professional appearance, a good industry reputation, and demonstrates a commitment to training.
Jason Edwards, Commercial Director of Edwards Coaches collected the award in front of more than 360 tourism industry professionals along with Alan Clough, Contracts Manager, Huw Davies, Group Manager, and Chris Davidge, Marketing Executive.
Edwards Coaches also had two of their drivers, Glyn Bowden and Andrew Martin nominated for the Coach Driver of the Year award both narrowly missing out on the top spot.
Edwards Coaches have recently been recognised within the Western Mail's top 300 companies in Wales, the Telegraphs top 1000 businesses and the Swansea Evening Posts top 100 Companies in South West Wales showing their substantial growth over recent years.
