Weekend Preview

All the weekend action from around the club and community

With Mountain Ash calling off the league game this week, the 2nd XV are now in the fixture pool looking for a game.

This will be the teams’ final game of the season so it’s hoped they can get a home game.

MINI & JUNIOR RUGBY

It is also getting into the final few weekends for our mini and junior sides and they are all beginning to start their end of season festivals and tours. We wish every age group continued success and thank you for being the great ambassadors for the Club and Community.

FOOTBALL

It is a massive weekend for Cwm Welfare as they look to keep their Welsh football league status. Only a win for Cwm at home to Ynysygerwn will do otherwise they will be relegated with two further games to play.

The visitors are also in a relegation fight and currently stand two places above Cwm with six more points having played a game more. The last time the two teams met the three points went to the Neath Valley Club after they recorded a tight 2-1 victory.

Kick-off is 2.30pm.

ENTERTAINMENT

It is another big weekend of live TV sport and you can see it all live on the many big screens and large TV’s around the Clubhouse in HD. There is the FA Cup semi-finals plus all the big games in rugby’s Aviva and Guinness Championships.

There is also the live artiste in the bar on Sunday from 5.30pm which is free for all members and bonafide guests.

Have a great weekend.
