Bristol Telephones took advantage of a mixed 1xv and 2xv that took time to work together. Scoring early in the match they kept Bishopston pinned in their own half for the majority of the first half, ending the first period with a 12 - 0 lead.
In the second half Bishopston played more fluidly and an end to end try started the come back. A penalty from Telephones kept them ahead but a further two converted tries and a penalty sealed the win for Bishopston.
