Blofield Utd Announce Damian Didwell as First Team Manager

Blofield Utd can formally announce the appointment of Damian Didwell as the clubs first team manager for the 2017/18 season.

The appointment was unanimously approved at the clubs AGM which was held this evening.

Damo has a wealth of experience, having played for a number of clubs at Anglian Combination and Thurlow Nunn level and more recently has been manager of Wroxham Reserves. Before that, he was first team manager of Spixworth, leading them to a Mummery Cup success in 2015.

Nick Budd will continue in his role as assistant first team manager, with Martin Plumstead the physio.

Despite being relegated, the reserves will once again be under the leadership of Liam Barnes, who will be assisted by Andy Guest. This again was unanimously approved as the committee recognised the huge amount of effort Liam had put in last season.
