End of Season Dinner and Awards

The End of Season Dinner was held at the clubhouse on Friday 5th May and attended by 90 people. Caterers provided a three course dinner.

The guest speaker was Jeff Probyn and the main sponsor of the dinner was JJMac Ltd.

Awards were presented as follows:

Young Player of the Season - Joshua Lynch
Top Try Scorer of the Season - Samuel Thornburn
Most Improved Player - Bradley Hiscocks
Barnett Backs Trophy - Samuel Thornburn
Players' Player - Sam Harby
Coaches' Player - Sam Harby
Phil Wilson Trophy - Jason Rushton/Harry Thornburn for travelling back from University all year to play for Bourne
Clubman of the Year - Dave Maudsley
President's Trophy - Chris Wheeler

The 100 square draw was won by James MacDonald (Serge). The prize was three international tickets.

The auction items were won as follows:

Barbarians Shirt Vs Fiji signed by whole team - Melvyn Ashton
Lions Shirt - Signed by Paul O'Connell - John Furlong

Thanks go to the caterers and those who volunteered to man the bar.
