Heath halt Sodbury
On a day when the club welcomed ex Bristol rovers and Heath legend Stuart Taylor for a reunion the team put on a good display.
The day didn't get off to the best of starts with leading scorer Matt Huxley sidelined for the rest of the season with ligament damage and then not one but two players pulling out during the warm up.
This though gave some of the youth team a chance to step into adult football, and this they did very well.
It was Sodbury who were first to show and could easily have taken the lead early on but failed to take take their opportunities and Heath slowly got themselves into the game.
Heath took the lead on 37 minutes whe Cory Simpson cut in from the right to curl the ball into the far corner.
The second half saw a much more determined Heath and they increased there lead through sixteen year old Louis Britton son of former Heath player Geoff Britton.
Louis finished with a great volley after some good play from
George Boon who produced the perfect cross.
Well done to the boys on a good performance and our second highest points total since our promotion to the premier division.
