CUP FC pre-season schedule finalised

Club officials have been busy over the past few weeks to organise the club's pre-season schedule for the coming season, which we are now pleased to announce.

It all kicks off with training starting on Tuesday 27th June, held on the upper field of Netherhall School, from 7 - 8.30pm. Training here will take place here for 4 weeks before returning to the Cass in August.

The first team have a minimum of six friendlies arranged, starting with St Neots Reserves on Saturday 8th July at the neutral venue of Cambourne Fitness & Sport Centre's 4G pitch. They are once again entered in Fulbourn FC's Terry Wilson Memorial Trophy with a tough first round draw vs Great Shelford on Tuesday 25th July. If they progress, the semi-final is played on Monday 31st July and then the final is on Friday 4th August.

The Reserves have a minimum of four friendlies in preparation for the season ahead, starting with a Cottenham Cup group match vs Girton United on Tuesday 25th July. Finishing 1st or 2nd in their group would see them reach finals day on Sunday 6th August with either a 1pm (3rd place play-off) or 3.30pm (final) kick off. Their final match is away to Cherry Hinton Reserves on Thursday 17th August - subject to the league fixtures being announced.
