Wicketkeeper reaches special milestone

Dafydd Bailey enjoyed a memorable finish to the 2017 season as he passed the 1,000-run mark for the club.

The wicketkeeper hit 30 in the club's Past XI v Present XI game last Saturday which took him past the milestone.

Bailey hit six half-centuries in the season. His top score was 67 against Buckley in July.

The full breakdown in respect of teams played for is as follows:

First XI - 110 runs in 4 innings at 27.50
Second XI - 575 runs in 17 innings at 38.33
Third XI - 249 runs in 7 innings at 83.00
Friendly XI - 19 runs in 1 innings at 19.00
Midweek XI - 14 runs in 2 innings at 14.00
Old Boys XI - 17 runs in 1 innings at 17.00
Present XI - 30 runs in 1 innings at 30.00
Total = 1,014 runs in 32 innings at 39.00
