Chippenham triumph at the REC

A great game with both sides playing strong. Chippenham came out on top with a strong second half performance at the Recreation Ground on Wednesday.

An even first half, Chippenham crossing with Tom Fogerty and Matt Bye. Both Trys left difficult touchline attempts for Dom Riccio.

The score at the half 10-0.

Midsomer Norton opened the second half strongly. A converted Try and a second without the extras, saw the score at 10-12.

With their backs now against the wall, superior fitness and some quality back line moves, saw Chippenham power towards the end of the game.

Trys from Fogerty and Doggett took the lead back for Nam. A trademark sprint down the line took Jon Turner in at the corner, followed by his usual power drive from Luke "Bin" Corbett. Three conversions from the boot of Riccio. Job Done.

Final Score 34-12.
