September 2017 Academy Player of the Month Winners Announced

All age group winners from the U8s to U19s will be awarded with their trophies at next Tuesday's first team home game vs TNS.

A huge well done as always to the winners from September 2017 with all sides and players having started the 2017-18 campaign very well.

All winners are asked to arrive at the first team game on Tuesday 10th October in what is currently the 1st vs 2nd placed Welsh Premier league fixture which sees our first team face last seasons Welsh Premier champions The New Saints.

Kick off for the game is 19:45 and all winners will be presented with their awards at half time by one of the clubs first team players as well as photos taken of each winner by club media officer Nik Mesney which will be posted on all of the clubs social media outlets.

All players are to arrive in red Nomads training jumpers and black training pants along with red training rain jacket.

A huge well done to the winners again and we look forward to presenting to all next week at the Deeside Stadium.

Under 8 - Olly Blythin

Olly has consistently played and trained at an impressive level this month. Showing terrific passing, finishing and control every time he's played. Culminating in him being the u8s current top scorer.(James Duff U8 Coach)

Under 9 - Gethin Roberts.

The tough tackling midfielder has been superb through September playing in a different position when called upon on, Gethins attitude and determination in training and matches has also been immense and thoroughly deserves player of the month.(Craig Griffiths U9 Coach)

Under 10 - Jayden Williams

Jayden continued the season where he left off last year, incredibly talented technically, with great pace also, Jayden enjoyed a 6 week trial with Liverpool late August and through September. Jayden was successful in this trial and thoroughly deserves his move to the prem club. Well done Jayden. (Ben Nash U10 Coach)

Under 11 - Harry Serridge

After end of last season Harry has come in this year with a great attitude working hard in training and given eveything in games, been on the score sheet most weeks, scoring all types of goals, looks very strong up top alone, has really kicked on, big well done Harry. (Jason Bell U11 Coach)

Under 12 - Aiden Hill

Aiden has been been asked to play a very different role this season, playing as a centre forward instead of his previous position of Right back. He has taken to it superbly well, he's been a constant threat and has scored 7 goals in 5 matches. (Leighton Sumner U12 Coach)

Under 13 - Leon Bennett

Displayed real consistency throughout September picking up a pair of Man of the Matches! Showed a good mixture of powerful and intelligent defending to nail down the centre half position at the start of the season, Well done Leon! (Danny Mapp-Jones U13 Coach)

Under 14 - Alex Palmer

Alex has made a big impression since arriving this season , having a fine September scoring numerous fine goals playing across the front three , his work rate and willingness to develop has certainly shone through. (Dale Johnson U14 Coach)

Under 15 - Oliver Cubbin

Oliver has started the season strongly and put in some solid displays at the back in some tough games. Has shown a great attitude to training and the new fitness training program which is just as important. Well done Oliver. (Anthony Weaver U15 Coach)

Under 16 - Michael Follis

Been superb all month, training and games he has been excellent he has followed up some impressive performances on the pitch with some very impressive training sessions, he is always striving to improve and become better and will be a huge asset to the team moving forwards. Nomads Academy Coleg Cambria Scholars B - Cameron Ramsay

Cameron Ramsay fully deserving of the award, he has put in some excellent performances this month and is fully deserving of the award. He has contributed with goals and assists for both the opening league and cup games for the side and has also earnt a chance to be in the Under 19s squad. (Iain Bennett Academy Scholars Coach)

Nomads Academy Coleg Cambria Scholars A - Jay Loyden

Jay has continued his good pre season form into the competitive season with two very good performance for Coleg Cambria scholars A vs Coleg Menai and Salford college. A great start to the season which will hopefully continue for the year ahead. (Daniel Reece Academy Scholars Coach)

Under 18 - Dan Smith

Been a rock in the middle and a very composed figure for the 18s in the past month. Capable of linking the play up as well as breaking it up. Has impressed since the very start and taken his pre season form into the season. (Lee Woodward U18 Coach)

Under 19 - Connor Coutnell

Connor Courtnell. Assisted 17 of the sides 47 goals so far this season, as well as scoring 3 goals himself. He comes in early to training to work on his set pieces and he/we have reaped the rewards of his work rate and commitment. Well done Connor. (Daniel Reece U19 Coach)

Academy Trips 2018 Presentations Tomorrow Evening Tomorrow evening our U8-U15s parents will enjoy two presentations with regards to next years planned Academy Tours.
Academy Team of the Week - Monday 2nd October 2017. Following a ten out of ten weekend last weeks Team of the Week has been announced.
