Prior to the game this was a fixture in the top 5 to look out for section of the Daily Post, for good reason!
The game started in ferocious fashion and had everything - chances, early goals, bad tackles!
Acton scored 2 goals in quick fire succession then added a third 15 minutes later. They looked very good value for their lead after 30 minutes. The game was very tasty in terms of tackles and gamesmanship, with both teams battling and words exchanged.
GAP came back into the game after regrouping and could have gone into half time at 3-2 if it weren't for two absolutely outstanding saves from the opposition keeper!
Half time and a change of shape was the order of the day from Woodward and Manley with the introduction of in-form Euros Barker into a 3-5-2.
GAP came out in the second half like Acton came out in the first, flying. Two goals in the space of 10 minutes with pure pressure on the home goal set the second half up nicely.
The first goal came from the left, after some excellent work in the centre from Owen Manley, Iwan Rogers the ball was pulled back from the bar line, a clever dummy sold 3 Acton players and Jack Aitken coolley slotted past the keeper.
The second goal came from a penalty that was both won and scored by Thomas Hyndman. The ball into Hyndman, who looked to be in an offside position, saw him drive into the box and be pulled down. The referee pointed to the spot and Hyndman blasted the ball into the roof of the net.
GAP had chances to make it 3-3 but stout defending and poor finishing kept the score at 3-2.
Acton lengthen their good form with a victory at home.

Player of Match - Jack Aitken
The central midfielder was all over the pitch today, out of possession he pressed everything and in possession he mounted great attacks for GAP.
He popped up with a well taken goal from a brilliant position after a late run into the box.
