Jason Pyott arrives as Goalkeeping coach

Lee Knibbs continues to put together his backroom team with the addition of Jason Pyott to his staff. Jason comes in as a goalkeeping coach and will fill a crucial role in the coaching team.
The new man comes in with experience of playing and coaching in Coventry and abroad. Jason is a Coventry man and played as a goalkeeper in junior football for Christ The King. At the age of 16 he moved into the senior side and went on to play for Coundon Court Old Boys and Massey Ferguson. His coaching credentials include being FA qualified and he also runs the “Performance through engagement goalkeeping academy”. Jason said:” We don’t just look at the technical side of the game but also the emotional side. I have brought my background of emotional intelligence into the education for keepers.”
Jason has also had an 18 month spell coaching in Hungary and managed junior teams at Coventry Alvis. He was named head coach at Coventry Alvis at the start of the season and then had a brief spell as first team manager. Jason has already been involved with training at Coventry Sphinx and he commented ”After my first session with Jake (Allingan) and the team it is easy to see why they are flying high. They have a great culture and attitude to the game and the club. I look forward to working with Lee and the boys”
Coventry Sphinx offer Jason Pyott a warm welcome and we hope he enjoys his time with our club.
