Main played there first league since December 6 th against Sheffield lane top missing three key players but being able to call on there big squad games will be coming thick and fast soon and all players will play there part. Main struggled to get into there game on a heavy pitch the ball not rolling right but was the same for both sides with lane top trying the ball over the top hoping to catch the main defence sleeping but main dealt with it well the order of the day was bad judgement misplaced passers and main was making hard work of the game with both keepers not having alot to do and probably the cleanest people on the pitch. lane top did have strong clams for a penalty shout turned down when the striker stayed on his feet maybe being to honest then 5 minutes later main got there noses in front when oakley came alive from a long kick from pears he danced his way into the box and was brought down the ref pointed to the spot wher liam winfield stepped up and sent the keeper the wrong way if we though that would settle main down well it did'nt HALF TIME 0 - 1 Main came out again lacklustre and kept trying to play but it was'nt working but to there credit they kept lane top to long shots and keeper pears really never had a save to make and lane top keeper only had to make one save in the second half from josh armstrong waywards shots from ford oakley and oneill was the only notable thing to mention but main dug out a win and will take the three points without playing well
