In what has now become the norm, Town started slowly and went a goal down through Llangefni’s first attack of the game on 4 mins. Town managed to get themselves level through a sweet strike by leading scorer Rhys Llwyd after quarter of an hour and then edge themselves into the lead through Sean James at the break. Denbigh's tempo and movement of the ball was too slow and needed to be quicker in the second half if they were to get the win they needed.
In the second half, there was some improvement and subsequently the young Denbigh side dominated the half with further goals from Rhys Llwyd getting his second, Sean James completing his hat-trick, Sam Tate and debut goals for Lewys Jenner and Jacob Parry who were both promoted from the Albion. This gave Denbigh a flattering 8-1 victory, but manager Rich Blake will be looking for more improvement in the tougher games to come before the end of the season.
