Easy game made look hard

After losing the day before Doncaster looked to have thrown 3rd spot away in the league, Doncaster had still come leaps and bounds from this time last year, so took a number of positives to Rotherham .

From the off Doncaster had very little concerns and squeezed a very average Rotherham side in the own half.

In saying that the only real incident of the first half was a short corner well saved from the Rotherham gk.

The second half again Doncaster had most of the ball and the only time Rotherham got out off their half was a bouncing long ball and the Rotherham centre forward one on one with Paul Hatton with Paul Hatton coming out best 0-0 still.

Doncaster finally got there break through 15 minutes from the end. Alex Proctor driving down the baseline line flicking the ball over the Rotherham GK leaving the GK confused how it had got past him.

Once the first goal came a 2nd, 3rd and a 4th came in quick succession. The goals coming from Andrew Whitting, Adam Elliott and Russ Saywell.
